We work closely with our brand partners to help deliver their products on time, every time.
Standard Manufacturing Timeframes
First time orders: 8-16 weeks from formulation sample approval
(This may vary due to packaging, obtaining certifications, raw material supply and stability trials).
For existing orders already in our production schedule: 6-8 weeks
Under five weeks.
New partners must complete a New Product Development Form, which our formulation chemists will then review and provide feedback on. This process takes 5-7 working days.
HFM owns the IP for every formulation we develop; however, unlike many other manufacturers, we offer our brand partners the option to purchase this, as we understand its importance to them.
HFM's future growth plans include building a state of the art manufacturing facility that will be TGA Certified and enable the manufacture of sunscreens.
No. We don’t manufacture coloured cosmetics or aerosol sprays.
Once your formulation sample is approved, you have the option to undergo Accelerated Stability Testing and PET (Preservative Efficacy Testing) on your products at an additional cost. While totally optional, we highly recommend this step. By choosing to forgo these tests, partners claim responsibility for any issues that may arise.
All products are sent out to an independent microbiological laboratory for micro-testing. This occurs after manufacturing, before filling and then once again, after your packaging is filled.
No. We test on humans – usually the staff here at HFM!

10,000 units per product. However, we can accommodate smaller order quantities if you have a variety of SKU's.
Our manufacturing prices are dependent on: product type, proposed ingredients, packaging type and compatibility, packaging volume and order quantity.
The cost for formulating new products with HFM is dependent on a number of variables including: ingredients, packaging types, product profile, production volumes and any other specific requirements. By completing our New Product Development Form we’ll be able to provide you an estimate for your project’s total cost of production.
HFM works closely with all of our brand partners to ensure we can provide flexible payment terms.
HFM is more than happy to suggest quality packaging suppliers both within Australia and Internationally.
